Costa Rica is getting populair, after Four Seasons, Westin, Hilton, RIU, Marriot and much more Donald Trump is now also thinking of Costa Rica.
Donald Trump, the billionaire U.S. property developer is trying to put his name on hotels in Argentina and Brazil, while expanding its brand in Latin America. Uruguay, Costa Rica and Mexico are also possibilities for hotel development to the extent that trade growth for the region is equivalent to that of China, said Eric Trump, executive vice president of development and acquisitions at the Trump Organization Inc.
The Trump Ocean Club in Panama City, the first hotel company outside the United States, is attracting guests even past the hotel construction boom in the fastest growing economy in Latin America, said in an interview yesterday in the city of Panama. “We are moving in a very different level of all those hotels that do not really affect us,” said Trump, who is the son of 28 years of Donald. “If you look at the hotel’s guests, all are executives.”
Newland International Properties, the real estate developer of the Ocean Club, continues to maintain “friendly conversations” with bondholders after entering into default last year for $ 220 million in debt to build a hotel and apartment complex of 70 floors.
